Ashram of Kashmiri Bapu is a popular religious place in Junagadh. It is around 2-3 kilometres inside Jungle. There is no concrete road to it. It’s just jungle. One has to walk on the tracking alike road. In the season of monsoon, this path becomes one of the most beautiful path for nature lovers.
Generally on Sundays & other holidays, you can find many people visiting the place of Kashmiri Bapu. Though the path is purely jungle and sometimes leopard too is seen on this way, on Sundays it is comparatively safe. But on other days, you wouldn’t find many people on this road.
I was on visit of Junagadh on the eve of Mahashivratri. In the noon-time, I became free and thought of visiting Ashram of Kashmiri Bapu. I had visited this place earlier two times but as I really get pure vibrations in such lonely places, I thought to utilize my time by visiting it once again. Back of my mind, I had thoughts that there will be some people on this way to Ashram being it the eve of Mahashivratri but I was wrong. When I reached at the start of this path, there were no people at all except couple of localists. For a moment, I thought of not going all alone, being this Jungle known for its wild animals. But then the invitation of nature was more powerful than fear which I accepted whole-heartedly. My all time companion handycam became a source to record my entire walk to this Ashram, which you can view in the below video.
Nice…Really enjoyed…
Glad you liked it. Have you been to this place? It’s indeed must to visit once.
very interesting and exciting……………..u hv also run risk of wild animal like leopard…….
u might hv inquired this……..anyway i enjoyed fully…….
Actually I knew about the risk of facing any wild-animal, mostly the leopard which is famous for attacking humans, but then as I mentioned, I couldn’t stop myself against the candid invitation from nature. Though, it is not so dense jungle, but still it is Jungle.
I’m glad you enjoyed the walk.
What i like about you Devang is that you give importance to little things that actually means a lot more than bigger things. You like to show us jungles rather than buildings, and that i think that makes your effort well worth!
Good work! Cheers
Jigar, for me, such small things are big things.
