Aniche is a 25 yr old guy from India who doesn’t fancy doing anything else except create obnoxiously humorous stuff about whatever he can get his hands on. And he is bored, very very bored. He preaches no ideals, no principles, and no morals. The only thing he endorses is absolute insouciance to life and everything related to it.
The writer recently wrote a book, a collection of four subversive comedy skits, titled “Saddam’s Hangover + 3 other equally insane skits” – http://saddamshangover.blogspot.com/. Aided by virtually no other publicity except word-of-mouth the book continues to slowly but steadily creep into the unsuspecting lives of the innocent readers leaving their cerebrums bruised and battered with a level of inaneness that has never been seen before.
Interview
Q1: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?
- I first started blogging about two years ago. I always get pissed off and annoyed when I listen to certain news items on TV and when I see something stupid around me. So one day I just thought I should sit down and try dealing with these things in my own way.
Q2: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?
- My blog is extremely silly and meant for an adult audience who enjoys unrestrained language and mature humor. I deal with every topic imaginable, from mars landing to religion to pedophilia. I maintain my blog on my own.
Q3: What are the present statistics for your blog, i.e. number of daily visitors, visitors geographical status etc.?
- Before I shifted my blog to my new address I used to get a healthy number of hits. There was a time when I used to get about 500 hits daily. However, as I got lazy and the posts became less frequent the hits too lulled. But I have a few dozen regular readers.
Q4: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?
- It’s just a platform for me to hone my writing skills and vent my anger on stupid things and stupid people.
Q5: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?
- I just visit random blogs according to my tags. I like funny blogs.
Q6: From the secret bucket of your blogging experiences, what tips you would like to share with the fellow bloggers?
- Write whatever you want. Don’t be boring is the only tip.
Q7: Do you believe that blogging completes you? If yes, tell us how?
- It’s healthy to get criticism for your writing. And I mostly get negative criticism for the views I express and the topics I deal with. However, not a lot of people truly get what I mean I write the way I do. If I criticize something about my country, it doesn’t mean I’m unpatriotic it means I care enough about my country to want to see it change.
Q8: What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?
- I felt really happy when Graham Bell gave me a call to tell me about his new invention. I felt really sad when I got the news of Alexander Fleming’s sad demise. That man ought to have known better than to walk around in the snow.
Q9: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?
- Italy, Hawaii, New York. I would take a close friend of mine.
Q10: Are you into watching movies? If yes, which fills your list of favorite ones?
- I love watching action movies and comedy movies. But I guess I’ll watch anything different and interesting.
Q11: How has blogging helped you other than money?
- Well, I have never got money through blogging. It has helped me write better I guess.
Q12: What would be the one thing you’d change about yourself?
- My bank account. I’d like to switch it with Donald Trump’s.
Q13: What is your deepest fear?
- That sharks will start walking on land.
Q14: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
- I would want to meet Hitler dead. And I would want to meet Megan Fox alive.
Q15: Which is your favorite television show? Favorite songs?
- I love The Office (UK). I like all hip hop.
Q16: How much money do you have in your purse/wallet right now (including change)?
- Not enough to buy another wallet.
Q17: What is your favorite food? Any particular dislikes?
- I like a certain dish that my mother makes called curry rice. It’s delicious.
Q18: What’s your take on the technological advancement these days? Does it make people’s life simple or complicated?
- Obviously, it makes things simpler. But what is difficult is to be able to afford them.
Q19: What do you think of “blogging is the next BIG thing”?
- I’m sure there will be bigger, faster and better ways of communications in the future.
Q20: List out the 10 bloggers you believe should be interviewed by Speakbindas.com.
- Like I said, I don’t really regularly visit the same blogs over and over again. It’s something that I’m learning to chance.
Q21: Any special message you would like to share with your blog readers as well with everyone else?
- If you see Osama, inform your local police. Thank you.
