MU OET is an online Entrance Exam conducted by Manipal University for admission in various courses. It is a university level entrance examination which is conducted for the students willing to take admission into various UG and PG courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Applied science, and many others. There is a huge craze for this exam. Every year about 50,000 students apply for this exam and only some of the students make it to the limited seats in Manipal University.
Note: The admission for MBBS and MBA into Manipal University is done on the basis of marks scored in NEET and CAT, XAT, MAT respectively.
The registration for MU OET has been started and the students can now fill the online application form. The application form for the same is available on the official website and the candidate is free to access the website for the same.

Eligibility Criteria for MU OET
Since MU OET consists of entrance exams for various courses, therefore, the eligibility criteria is different for all. For the admission to any UG or PG courses, it is mandatory for a candidate to have qualified +2 with a minimum of 45%.

For B.Tech:
- It is mandatory for a candidate to pass +2 from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Pass the above exam (+2) with Mathematics, Physics & English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or any technical vocational subject.
- Minimum Marks: Minimum of 50% must be secured as an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, and any other vocational subject.
- Marks in Entrance Exam: In order to be qualified for the admission the candidate must attain at least 50% marks in the MU OET exam.
- Age Limit: There is no minimum age limit.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have a 3 years Diploma in Engineering & passed 10+2 examinations from a recognized university.
- Subjects: Mathematics as the main subject in +2.
- Minimum Marks: Scored a minimum of 45 %.
- Age Limit: There is no minimum age limit.

Application Fee:
- The online application fee is INR 600 & for the MU-OET entrance test, the fee is INR 1400.
The application fee can be paid through any of the below-mentioned modes:
o Online payment through credit card/debit card/net banking.
o Payment can also be made through DD in favor of “Manipal University”, payable at Manipal/Udupi.
- The Candidates who will be submitting the fee through DD will have to send the copy of the printout of the filled application form to the following address:

Once the application fee is paid the student is successfully registered for the entrance exam of MU-OET and the student must save the page or take a print out of it for future purpose.
MU OET Result Announcement
The result date for the respective courses will be announced soon. The candidates will be able to view the result through online mode on the university website. The result can be seen by entering the application number allotted to the candidate at the time of registration.
Keep the printouts of the result for the future purpose of counseling and admission.
Manipal University Counselling 2018
Soon after the announcement of results the process for counseling will begin. The counseling venue is selected by the candidate at the time of slot booking during registration. The seats will be allocated on the basis of rank secured in the MU-OET exam.
