Devikaben Dhruv resides in USA and is the author of “Shabdo ne Palavde(શબ્દોને પાલવડે)” which is a collection of diversified poems.
She wrote her first poem “Tamanna(તમન્ના)” when she was only eleven years old which she gave away to her favorite teacher.
In this interview which is conducted by Nikhilbhai Mehta, she shares her poetic journey.

શબ્દોને પાલવડે રમતી આવી છું,
ભાવોની સંતાકુકડી ખેલતી આવી છું;
અર્થોના ઝોલે ખુબ ઝુલતી આવી છુ,
સાહિત્યના વિશાળ આકાશમાં વિહરવા આવી છું.

Nice interview. Congratulation to Devikaben on publication of your first book of poems. I really like all of your poems but these three are my favorite Maaru Amdavad Khovau, Shravani Roshni and Naagar Nyari. I literally finished whole book at one seeting.
