It is said that we can worship God also through Music. There are many wonderful singers who do sing Sufi songs. Recently, I came across such a wonderful, talented singer who sings marvelous sufi songs. I listened to a Sufi song called “Patiya Likha” and I was totally impressed with its singing, lyrics and composition. This inspired me to interview Dhruv Sufi, who sang it. He is the lead vocalist and founder of Tauheed Sufi Band, under which this song was produced.

By profession, he is a sound engineer. At present he works with Softmines.com as a Senior Sound Engineer and Music Producer. He has worked with many leading companies such as NDTV, BIG FM, BAG FILMS, RADIO DHAMAAL, MIDITECH(INDIAN IDOL 4), RADISSON, NACO(DONE 40 SHOWS IN DELHI NCR), MARY KAY(PERFORMED WITH COUNTRY HEAD and ALL INDIA RADIO  as an ARTIST OF THE WEEK (hosted by OP RATHOD). And also with artists of EUPHORIA, DJ AQEEL, UDITA GOSWAMI, KAILASH KHER, UDIT NARAYAN, many more. He has taken training for classical Indian music. He has also studied sound engineering, so he also possesses excellent technical education regarding his field. He says “I have worked as a Music teacher, Sound engineer, Promo Producer, and Music manager. On every role and age we can work and education is very important.”

His first Guru is his father Shri Ram Kumar who is a big fan of Mohammad Rafi. He only inspired Dhruv to sing songs.

When Dhruv Sufi was in 6th std he has got the Best solo singer award in school. He learned lots of folk songs from his mother Smt. Omti Devi.
Dhruv wants To dedicate his Life to Sufi / Indian folk music and establish Our Indian Music into around the world.

Their first album is mostly to be released soon.
