When we mention the name of Darshan Jariwala, the first thing that hits our mind is the Hindi Film ‘Gandhi, My Father.’ He did realive Mahatma Gandhi in this film with his outstanding performance. He gave full justice to it. And it is widely known that he had undergone some special preparations before playing the role in the film, such as he attended Vipassana Shibir too.
He belongs to Gujarati theatre where he played many outstanding characters. He then appeared in televisions serials and then in Hindi films such as Gandhi, My Father(2007), Guru (2007), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009), Raajneeti (2010) and few others.
In this interview he also mentioned about his dream role which is of Bahadur Shah Zafar who was the last of the Mughal emperors in India, as well as the last ruler of the Timurid Dynasty.
