Work in the right direction

We all work to earn money and attain success in our life. But not all of us enjoy the desired success despite doing the maximum hardwork, why?

Read below story to find out its answer.

Once on a ship some technical problem occurred. Engineers started finding the fault. From morning till evening they tried but couldn’t locate the problem. Captain of the ship commanded engineers to find the problem quickly as the ship was to leave the harbor next morning. But engineers failed and they told to captain that it’s not possible.

Someone suggested to call an old man from the city who was not an engineer but an experienced ship technician. Captain asked for him quickly. The old technician came. He hit the hammer at some place and ship got started. Everyone was amazed, including the engineers and captain.

Captain asked the old technician for the bill. He gave a bill of Rs. 10,000/-. Captain got shocked seeing such a big amount.

He said to the technician:

“Just to hit the hammer, you are charging Rs. 10,000?”

The old technician replied:

“Charges to hit the hammer is just Rs. 200. Rest of Rs. 9800/- is for the knowledge of where to hit it.”

So only hardwork is not enough if the direction is not right. Proper place and proper time do perform a major role in our success.
So now on do check with yourself that whether you are working in the right direction or not.
