I am currently employed part-time and make money online, in different ways.

Interview

Q: Welcome to Speakbindas. Tell us since when blogging has been a part of your life? Was there any motive or inspiration as a backbone of it?

* Ans.: Blogging has been part of my life since 2008, there were actually two motivational factors that led to my blogging career. The first was spending over 11 years in the Multi-Level Marketing industry and thinking there has to be a way to help myself and others make money. The second motivator was a tragedy that occurred in my life. I started a blog to assist others who may be suffering or recovering from a similar tragedy.

Q: What is your blog all about? Which topics you cover there? Is that you alone running/maintaining the blog, or have a team?

* Ans.: NEWRU’s main topics are blogging, internet marketing, making money online, and social media. However, I veer off the topics once and awhile for variety. It is maintained just by me.

* BloggerLuv is a great team of individuals who work together to spread what we call Luv to our fellow bloggers. It ranges from interviews, blogging tips, and also a mishmash of whatever each individual author feels like posting. It is a great site and I highly recommend checking out all the great authors.

Q.: How important is it for the blogger to interact with their readers? Do you respond to all the comments that you receive?

* Ans.: I find extreme importance in interacting with your readers. Blogging is not just about the blogger but the community as well. I do my best to respond to all the comments I get, I may be late on response or miss a few, but not many.

Q: What are the present statistics for your blog, i.e. number of daily visitors, visitors geographical status etc.?

* Ans.: My three main geographical areas are the U.S., United Kingdom, and India

Q: Is blogging for you just a passion or a medium for earning too? Does it help you to earn enough cash to quit a 9 to 5 day job?

* Ans.: Blogging is both a passion and medium for earning. Currently, I do not make enough to quit my part-time job and to be honest I don’t know that I will quit even when I make enough, I enjoy helping people to much.

Q: Who are your favorite bloggers, whom you read frequently?

* Ans.: Some of my favorite blogger include Anna Vera Williams from “Building From Nothing”, http://www.buildingfromnothing.com Holly Mann from “Honest Holly” http://honestholly.com/ , and Hesham from “Famous Bloggers” http://famousbloggers.net/

Q: From the secret bucket of your blogging experiences, what tips you would like to share with the fellow bloggers?

* Ans.: Community was an aspect that I long ignored, if I would have paid more attention to building friends and networking with those in the blogosphere I would be much further along. Make friends with your readers, learn and comment on their blogs, establish relationships.

Q: Do you believe that blogging completes you? If yes, tell us how?

* Ans.: Blogging completes me in many ways, I can assist people with the tips and tricks that I learn along the way. I answer questions for those who contact me, and I learn something new everyday.

Q: What was the happiest and gloomiest moment of your life?

* Ans.: The happiest was finding my boyfriend of two years ( hope to be fiance). The gloomiest was the tragedy that struck that caused me to start blogging, I would rather not say what that was at this point.

Q: Say, you are sponsored to travel to 3 world destinations, where you need not to worry about costs for food, hotel or anything. Which destinations would you pick up, and why? Would you like to take someone along with you? If yes, whom?

* Ans.: This may be funny to many but I would like to travel to the top twenty spots where Bigfoot has been sighted, I would bring my boyfriend, and someone big and strong, in case Yeti should make an appearance I would also like to go to Loch Ness, just to check it out, and to see the beauty. Finally, Disney World, to relive my childhood, and go someplace warmer, would also take the boyfriend.

Q: How has blogging helped you other than money?

* Ans.: Blogging has helped me speak my mind, assist others, get to know some great people I would not have otherwise got a chance to meet. It is very rewarding in many ways, but I would not trade the friendships for the world.

Q: What would be the one thing you’d change about yourself?

* Ans.: I procrastinate a little to much, so I would change that, otherwise I would not change a thing, I am happy with who I am.

Q: What will you do without internet?

* Ans.: Assist the mentally ill and disabled in living a fulfilling, happier life.

Q: What is your deepest fear?

* Ans.: I don’t know what my deepest fear is. I cross each bridge as it comes. Of course, snakes are not on my fan list.

Q: If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would it be?

* Ans.: I would like to meet Elton John, I love his music, and would be thrilled to meet him in person.

Q: Which is your favorite television show? Favorite songs?

* Ans.: Don’t watch much T.V. so I can’t answer that one. Favorite songs, anything by Elton John, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, and Billy Joel. Also, love Hurdy Gurdy man by both Donovan.

Q: How much money do you have in your purse/wallet right now (including change)?

* Ans.: 14.76

Q: What is your favorite food? Any particular dislikes?

* Ans.: Love peanut butter, dislike seafood

Q: What’s your take on the technological advancement these days? Does it make people’s life simple or complicated?

* Ans.: Both simple and complicated, once you figure things out (which could take awhile) things are simple, until a new version comes out.

Q: What do you think of “blogging is the next BIG thing”?

* Ans.: I believe blogging is the next big thing. It great for people toexpress themselves, drive traffic to their business, and earn extra money.

Q: Any special message you would like to share with your blog readers as well with everyone else?

* Ans.: I would like to thank all blog readers of NEWRU and my co-authors at BloggerLuv. They make my blogging experience more rewarding then I thought it could be.
