Social media has its advantages and disadvantages. One of the best advantages is that you can meet some interesting people you would have otherwise never been able to met. One such energetic person Khanpara Ankur visited my office followed by conversation on various topics including spirituality, his personal life story, bio-gas plants, prospects of rural development in India, renewable energy, literature, history and so on.
At present he is studying M. Tech in I.I.T. Bombay after having scored 31st rank in G.T.U. all over India. But his educational journey began after he failed in terminal exams of standard 10. That became like a turning point in his life and then he decided to study harder and did so by completing engineering in Mechanical branch.
He is full of ideas and inspiration. He has done several projects for rural community and is very much focused to working for rural segment of India after completing his studies. One of such ideas he shared was about a huge chunk of vegetables that are grown in India, gets wasted. He wants to work so that such waste doesn’t happen and farmers gets more pay for their hard work and efforts.
